Trying not to think of it

But it just keeps on bothering my mind

Hope I can figure this out

Feels like the world has turned upside down

We used to be by each others side

We used to be laughing out loud

About jokes that we made out

Can we just bring it back?

I'm tired of pretending I'm alright

I'm not okay, this is just not right

I don't know where to go now

Are you willing to take me back?

Maybe I have not made you feel

The love and care you should've felt

Is it too late for me to try

To bring back the old times?

I don't know how

I don't know why

These things are not just right

Do we need to say goodbye?

I just miss the old US.
